Costume Exchange Day

Used Costume Day:

Used Costume Day is hectic, but it saves our families money and that’s very important to CVAC. Below is everything you need to know about Used Costume Day.

Time:

Used Costume Day is today, November 15 at 5:00 and usually lasts about a half an hour. If you are not present right at 5:00, you take a chance on missing a used costume opportunity. If there are NO used costumes available, you will be responsible to purchase a new costume. Used costumes DO NOT go through the studio. You will pay the seller directly, in cash, on the day that you take the costume. The seller sets the price of the used costume. It is your responsibility to check over the costume for stains and damage. Once the transaction takes place, it is final.

Costumes Being Used This Year:

If you need to sell, or would like to purchase a used costume, please review the following…Creative Dance, PreBallet and Ballet 1 are using the white satin leo and white tutu used for 8 previous years.

Totals:

The entire studio, with a formula using the cost of new costumes multiplied by the number of students in each class, is saving our families over TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS!! We are set to spend about eight thousand dollars for the new costumes purchased this year, including performance tights. If you choose to complain about this process and/or the costumes you need to purchase, you choose to spend three times as much at a different studio. We have worked very hard to save our families money on costumes. New costume papers will be out in two weeks. Thanks for your continued support in preparing your dancers for concert,CVAC Staff and Administration
