Lisa's Biography

Starting at age 5, Lisa took classes at Studio Allegro Dance where she did jazz and tap. During her teenage years she started a more serious study of ballet and pointe at Dance Design Academy. She was a member of the West Jordan High School Dance Company, and went on to be VP of Weber State University’s Ballroom Dance Team. As much as Lisa loved dancing and performing, she knew at a young age that choreographing and teaching was what she wanted to do. She started as a student teacher for Studio Allegro Dance, then as a competition teacher, under the direction of Karen Hudson, and on to full time teacher and choreographer at Tiffany Dance Company. She was lucky enough to choreograph 10 dances that won high point awards and one choreography award in a 5-year span. Lisa has been with Canyon View for four years now teaching Ballet, Jazz, and is currently the director of the competition teams.
